About the Instructor

We are excited to announce Catch Wrestling has arrived at Safety Academy USA. We have teamed up with Coach Mike Miggs who has been training in the martial arts for over two decades. Coach Miggs has been involved in the art of catch as catch. Can wrestling since 2007 and has been a member of Snake pit USA since 2013.

Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of Catch Wrestling including some of the arts signature clinch work, takedowns, and submission base grappling

Students participating in this introductory hour must wear proper attire. This includes.

T-Shirt

Shorts or Sweatpants

Stocking or bare feet. (Foot ware is not allowed on the training matts)

STAND UP WRESTLING 1: MOVEMENT FROM NEUTRAL POSITION

1.) Stance and Movement:

a.) Proper Stance: Head, Butt, Elbows, Feet and Weight Distribution

b.) Proper Movement: Forward, Backwards and Side to Side
