Choke Recognition & Response Training for Restaurant Employees

This two-hour course is designed to equip restaurant workers and food service personnel with essential skills to recognize a choking victim and respond effectively using Abdominal Thrusts (commonly known as the Heimlich Maneuver). Practical training will be conducted with manikins to ensure hands-on experience. This course is especially recommended for those working in food service or with high-risk individuals. Completion of practical skills will result in participants receiving a “Certificate of Attendance,” which may be necessary for compliance with Massachusetts law regarding food safety training.
