Personal SafetyTips for HS and College age Students

This is a comprehensive class which teaches the student the proper use of basic

Self-defense and situational awareness, including the use of pepper spray (legal in all 50 US States)

Class Curriculum

· Basic Self-Defense Techniques

· Situational Awareness to avoid conflict.

· Use of Pepper Spray, and why it is vital to self-defense.

· Identify the effect of OC Spray

· Identify the types of OC Delivery systems.

· Legal Justification for Pepper Spray

· Students will go through different scenarios using Inert (simulated) spray on the instructor.

· No live Pepper Spray will be used!

·

Upon completion of the class, all students 18 years of age or older will receive a live can of pepper spray similar to the inert spray used in the class. Students 14-17 years of age upon completion, can apply for an FID Pepper Spray license to legally possess Pepper Spray.

This class is taught by Mike Pelonzi who has been a Firearms, Defensive Tactics, and Chemical Munitions Instructor for 25 years.
