About the Event
This is the newly approved Massachusetts State curriculum applicable for a Class A License to carry for individuals aged 21 and older, as well as a Class C Firearms Identification Card for those aged 14-20. The class includes instruction on Rules for Safe Gun Handling, identifying and unloading various firearms, and practical exercises in safe gun handling. It also covers types of ammunition, including storage and transportation, as well as the carrying and transportation of guns. Additional topics include the use of force and de-escalation techniques, suicide prevention, and the cleaning and storage of guns. The curriculum also guides participants through the full application process and the creation of a Massachusetts Gun Transaction Portal account.
