About the Event

Our interactive pepper spray class provides a thorough understanding of what pepper spray is and why it can be a valuable self-defense tool. The class starts with an engaging one-hour presentation covering the history of pepper spray, its practical uses, and important guidelines on how and when to use it safely. Students also learn legal details about transportation and storage in the United States, as well as how to properly decontaminate affected people and areas.

During the second hour, students participate in realistic scenarios where instructors are sprayed with inert training spray—giving hands-on experience without any personal exposure to the spray. Upon successful completion, students receive a certificate.
